Yup, school is out for the summer. For me at least. My moms school still has until Friday. I plan on torturing her with this fact. Mwhahaha.

I sent her a text yesterday saying that summer says hello. She called me a smartie pants.

Of course today I got a call from work which means on my first full day of summer, I still was technically working. Oh well, it was just a minute to put in a students final grade who got suspended for having drugs in his car.

got the a/c fixed...found I had a credit at the dealership--which was nice so the cost wasnt too bad (wts used spleen!).....

gonna be a hot one for the next few days--twill be glad to have that a/c!

Well at least you had credit. I still need to take mine in to get the timing belt changed. But I did see that it was changed later than what my dad and I had originally thought so I'm not quite as worried about it now.

Glad today is going to be hot and not yesterday. Helped a friend of mine move yesterday for 11 hours. So glad it wasn't hot and humid. And I got lunch and dinner out of it.

moving...yeah, takes time and lots of energy (done WAAAAY TOOOO many times...just want to do it ONCE more and be done with it!).

Ya it does take a lot of time. Glad I was just helping him store it and not actually helping him move into a new place. That is on him.

Supposed to be hot again today. Currently cool so I have the windows open. They will have to be closed in another hour or so though to keep the warm air out.

I'm not a fan of thunderstorms or tornadoes--saw a few too many when I was a kid, but in the same vein, not a happy camper when my electric bill looks more like a mortgage payment

fire storms...had them when I lived in boise during one of the drought years (yeah, they are in drought again, happens when you live on the edge of a desert)....remember watching one from the back of our office building (I worked 2nd shift)...and the sky was all red--was kinda cool for a few minutes,....then break was over and we had to go back to work!

so now we have hot AND raining /sigh

Never had a firestorm here. Don't really have droughts too much usually though.

We haven't had any rain yet. Might rain tomorrow but who knows. I would be okay with a little rain tomorrow night, maybe a little storm. That would be nice.

I'm currently watching a National Geographic special on the Joplin Tornado. Very eerie to see the different perspectives when the tornado hit and then after. Really makes you realize how powerful the weather can be.
